BIOGRAPHY

Born in Geneva in September 2011, Lucas Chiche is a young pianist whose passion for music began at the age of 4. At the age of 6, he entered the prestigious Geneva Conservatory of Music, and a year later joined the Musimax program for gifted children.

At just 13, Lucas has already won a number of prestigious international competitions, including the Rondo International Competition (2019 and 2020), the SJMW Swiss Competition (2021), the London Young Musician (2022) and the Geneva Baroque Competition (2023).
In 2024, the jury of the Grand Piano Competition awarded him the Prix Spécial and invited him to give a recital at the Ecole Normal de Musique de Paris - Salle Cortot.

In 2022, he distinguished himself as a finalist in the ‘Prodiges’ competition on France 2, winning praise from the jury comprising Gautier Capuçon, Julie Fuchs and Marie-Claude Pietragalla. This performance enabled him to make a name for himself with a wide audience.

Lucas has already performed in such world-renowned venues as New York's Carnegie Hall, Geneva's Victoria Hall and Moscow's Tchaikovsky Hall. He played with prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the CMG Symphony Orchestra, Divertimento, the Svetlanov Orchestra and the Moscow Virtuosi under Maestro Spivakov. Lucas impresses with his talent and musical maturity. He has also taken masterclasses with renowned musicians such as M. Marchenko, N. Goerner, and E. Leonskaya.

Aside from music, Lucas enjoys travelling, diving and basketball. Currently supported by the NoMadMusic team, he looks forward to seeing you on 15 March 2025 for an exceptional concert at the Salle Cortot in Paris.
